Data processing & privacy

Understand what stays in your browser and what leaves it.

Tool inputs

JSON formatting, comparison, JSONPath queries, text conversion, and SQL schema parsing run in your browser. These actions do not send your pasted or uploaded input to our sharing service. The tools do not save editor contents between visits. Downloads create a file on your device.

Shared links

When you select Share, DataLens either includes compressed content in the URL fragment or submits it to the configured sharing service to create a shorter link. Older links may contain content in query parameters. Anyone who has a shared link can read its content. Treat it as public, and avoid sharing private data or credentials. Contact us if you need help with a stored link.

API requests and local preferences

The API client sends requests directly to the destination you enter, including your configured headers and body. It stores recent request URLs and methods in your browser; use Clear in Recent Requests to remove them. Theme and analytics preferences are also stored locally. URLs can contain sensitive information, so review requests before saving or sharing them.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Our page-view events contain the page path, without shared data, query strings, or URL fragments. Google may process device and network information as described in its privacy policy. The hosting provider may also keep access logs. This version does not display advertisements.

Contact and requests

If you email us, we receive the information you include so we can respond. For privacy questions or requests about shared content, contact contact@flazetech.in. Avoid including the sensitive content itself in your initial message.
